Meet our Youth Leaders
Bushwick Campus Food Justice Team
The Bushwick Campus Food Justice Team, formerly the Youth Food Policy Council, was formed in 2013 when student leaders at the Bushwick Campus Farm partnered with Community Food Advocates to push for free school lunch through the Lunch 4 Learning Campaign. Today, the Bushwick Campus Food Justice Team encourages youth to become leaders of the food justice movement as it pertains to them through hands-on education, youth-led advocacy meetings and communal outreach.
Teenergetic is a youth advocacy group founded by high school students. Teenergetic aims to launch Universal Free Lunch, improve the appeal of school food, and enhance the overall learning experience in New York City public schools.
